Crystal Cove to Little Corona del Mar Swim - June 1, 2013

 

Saturday, June 1st the Tridiots opted for a point-to-point swim from the cottages at Crystal Cove to Little Corona del Mar. My Garmin GPS watch that I wore inside my swim cap mapped the total swim at 2.46 miles. We were in the water for 1:47. Nobody wore wetsuits because the water temperature was nice. Oh, and it was calm as could be until we ran into the boats of what appeared to be a fishing tournament at the end.

Regarding the last photo, I would appreciate it if the birds didn't poop so much on the buoy that the boats cannot recognize that they are entering a swim area.
